How DevDeck’s website and licensing service process data, and the boundary between your local workspace and online services.

Data and purposes
Purchases and license recovery involve email, plan, amount, currency, transaction and subscription identifiers, payment status and license records. Activation involves a randomly generated device identifier, device display information and activation, verification, release and expiry records. Servers generate operational or security logs such as request times, network addresses, paths and errors. Data supports fulfillment, sign-in and notification emails, licensing, support, refunds, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
Local workspace
Connection settings, queries, terminal content, API requests and project files are primarily handled locally and exchanged with services you choose. The licensing service does not collect that business content for license verification. Materials you voluntarily send for support enter the support process. Do not send passwords, private keys, full payment details or unrelated business data.
Browser storage
Language preferences use local storage. Checkout drafts, purchase email and order access credentials may use session storage. Sign-in uses session cookies. Clearing storage may require signing in or entering order details again. Payment component storage follows Paddle’s privacy notice. The website currently has no advertising trackers or third-party traffic analytics scripts.
Providers and international processing
Paddle is the seller of record and handles payment, billing, tax and fraud-prevention data under its own privacy notice. We do not directly collect full card numbers or security codes. Cloud infrastructure and Alibaba Cloud Direct Mail support our website, licensing and transactional emails; current relevant services are hosted in Singapore. Data may be processed outside your location. Legally required notices, consent or other measures must precede the relevant processing.
Retention and security
Data is retained as needed to deliver services, resolve disputes and meet legal duties, then deleted or de-identified when no longer needed. Temporary sign-in credentials expire. We use HTTPS, access controls and server-side credential separation, but no system is absolutely secure. Refunds or cancellation do not necessarily erase legally required transaction records.
Choices and requests
Contact DevDeck to request information, access, correction or deletion and, where applicable, withdrawal of consent or other privacy rights. We may verify your purchase email or other necessary identity information to prevent unauthorized disclosure and explain legal retention limits. Contact Paddle directly about payment data it holds. We do not target children; contact support about any inappropriate processing of children’s data.
Updates and contact
Use the active contact channel on our support page for privacy requests. Material updates will be dated and communicated appropriately. Consent will be requested separately for processing that legally requires it.
